The best thing Microsoft had to offer at CES was the farewell video for Bill Gates.

Bill’s last full day at Microsoft will be in July and hopeful next year we’ll see a different, better Microsoft.

My Predictions for 2008

In 2008 I predict that:

  • Apple will announce a new Apple TV
  • iTunes will get movie rentals
  • The HD disk format war will not be won
  • iTunes will have HD content (i.e TV shows and Movies)
  • Service pack 2 for Windows Vista
  • DRM on music will be on more
  • The Xbox3 360 will get a built in HDDVD drive and WI-FI
  • OpenID will be used by more sites
  • Google’s Stock will break
  • Amazon mp3 will launch in the UK
