iPhone OS 3.0

Apple held an event to preview the new operating system for the iPhone. Version 3.0 will have:
Most of this stuff is version 1 and if not version 2 at the latest however the update will be free to all iPhone owners.
As for my predictions the only one's I got were copy and paste and push notifications. Turn by turn directions can be developed as a third party app but won't be part of the core OS due to licensing.
- Search in more places (mail)
- Cut, copy, and paste
- Send photos, contacts, audio files, and location via MMS (3G phones only)
- Read and compose email and text messages in landscape
