Apple just announced that iLife ’09 will start shipping tomorrow, January 27, from the Apple Store and retailer’s for £69. They will also start shipping the new Mac Box Set with iLife ’09, iWork ’09 and Mac OS X Leopard for £149.
So what’s new this year:
- iPhoto
- Places – organize photos by where they where taken and display them on a map
- Faces – organize photos by who’s in them with face detection
- Upload to Facebook and Flickr
- iMovie
- Advanced editing with timelines
- Video stabilization
- Animated travel maps (“like in the movies”)
- Garageband
- Learn to play instruments
- Buy artist lessons.
The new iLife ’09 also includes small updates to iDVD and iWeb.
